collection For the first time in my life, I have an actual skincare routine for my face. It has taken a long time for me to realise that I need one and now I have a skincare routine down.
There are a lot of products but to be honest, everything only takes me about five minutes from start to finish. It would actually be less but you need to add in drying times for the products as well.
To start off with the face washing. I now just use one product and that is the Naturally Radiant foam wash from Superdrug. It is a simple product, which easily cleans the face of all residue and oil and leaves the skin feeling fresh. It is not a glamorous product but it does what it says on the tin.
Next is Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 from The Ordinary and this is a thick liquid, which hydrates and pumps my skin. It also just leaves my skin feeling really good and fresh. I use half a dropper full and spread this around my face and neck.
After that is caffeine – well I am drinking caffeine throughout the process but this time it is on my eyes. I use The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% to reduce puffiness and dark circles. I only use a drop of this on each eye as a little goes a long long way.
The final two steps are moisturiser and primer. The moisturiser I’ve used for about two years is the 2-in-1 serum and moisturiser from Superdrugs, Naturally Radiant collection. Then I use the B Cosmetics Primer, again from Superdrug. Both I use a squirt of each and concentrate it on the centre of my face.
After all that I am ready for makeup and I really do feel that my skin has felt a lot better since I have been using the Hyaluronic acid and started to use a primer daily as a barrier for my skin before makeup.
All the products are cruelty-free and really affordable as well.
